They are becoming more and more popular and are seriously trending right now and we are all for it. If you are a Pinterest addict like us you’ll know what we mean. They’re not only big on the wow factor but can also be big on the budget, but so totally worth it and if you’re creative can be done for a lot less.

Below we go through some of our favourite ways to incorporate hanging flowers into your wedding. There are so many more ideas on Pinterest, so get reading and pinning and be inspired to add some floral magic to your big day!

Floral Chandeliers

Floral chandeliers are totally romantic and can either be completely made out of flowers or can have existing flowers added to a chandelier within the venue.

Both warrant different budgets so choose what’s within budget but both make a huge impact and will leave your guests wishing they had one too.

Play around with numbers by limiting a floral chandelier to the top table or intermittently spreading them around the venue, it all depends on your vision, budget and any restrictions from the venues side.

Floral Curtain

We love a floral wall, but we also LOVE a floral curtain. Flower walls are all the rage thanks to the likes of Kim Kardashian but we feel a floral curtain can be just as romantic and possibly on the cheaper side.

If you’re looking to add a feminine background to your ceremony, or divide the areas between the rooms or areas in your venue with something pretty or just want an excuse to get together with the girls and get creative then a floral curtain is for you.

It can also make a fantastic backdrop for your photo booth!

Floral Garland

Something that is so popular is the suspended shelf structure that is draped with florals and greenery that usually hangs above guests and their tables.

A long rectangular structure spilling over with beautiful blooms is so beautiful and is a real statement piece.

This is an alternative style to the floral chandelier and can allow you to be more playful and free with what you want it to look like.

Give me a banqueting table and a hanging flower garland at my wedding any day!

Floral Centrepieces

Need more room on the tables but don’t want to forego flowers? Why not hang your centrepieces instead!

A magical and truly romantic way, we feel, to incorporate those beautiful blooms but leave room on the table for chit chat and delicious food.

Hang flowers in jam jars, lanterns overflowing with blooms or create beautiful individual structures adding flowers and candles and hang them at different levels.

And if you don’t need the room, hang them anyway dotting them around the venue to add extra little touches of magic to your big day!
